The following mandatory equipment must be carried at all times during the race. Random spot checks may be performed at any time, and time penalties or disqualification imposed for non-compliance depending on severity. Mandatory equipment will be checked during distribution of race kits.

  • All participants must present their medical certificate upon claiming of race kit.
  • Mandatory equipment will also be checked.
  • Free food for all 100K and 50K participants during the race briefing.


  • The start line will be at Awan-igid.
  • All 100K participants are required to be at the pick-up area (Banaue Hotel) 30 minutes before their shuttle’s departure. Shuttles will begin to depart at exactly 1:30 AM, April 29.
  • Transportation to the start is for official participants only. Each participant must present his/her race bib upon boarding.
  • Luggage deposit will only be accepted at Banaue Hotel.
  • Drop bags will be collected at the start location (Awan-igid) from 2 AM to 2:45 AM on Saturday morning, before the gun start. Please DO NOT bring your drop bag at the race briefing, as we won’t be accepting them.
  • Be sure to check-in before the start of the race.
  • Be advised that there are no toilets at the start location. Please arrive at the start line dressed and ready to go.
  • There are parking spaces at Banaue Hotel.
