QUALIFICATIONS

To qualify for the 100k category, a participant:

  • must have finished at least one marathon (42.195 km) or any longer distance race (road or trail) within six (6) months prior to race day. Result must be verifiable on the internet.
  • must be eighteen (18) years of age or older as of race day.
  • must be physically fit and in good health.

MANDATORY EQUIPMENT

The following mandatory equipment must be carried at all times during the race. Random spot checks may be performed at any time, and time penalties or disqualification imposed for non-compliance depending on severity. Mandatory equipment will be checked during distribution of race kits.

GUIDELINES

RACE KIT DISTRIBUTION & BRIEFING

  • All participants must present their medical certificate upon claiming of race kit.
  • NO MEDICAL CERTIFICATE, NO RUN.
  • Mandatory equipment will also be checked.
  • Free food for all 100K and 50K participants during the race briefing.

PRE-RACE REMINDERS

  • The start line will be at Awan-igid.
  • All 100K participants are required to be at the pick-up area (Banaue Hotel) 30 minutes before their shuttle’s departure. Shuttles will begin to depart at exactly 1:30 AM, April 29.
  • Transportation to the start is for official participants only. Each participant must present his/her race bib upon boarding.
  • Luggage deposit will only be accepted at Banaue Hotel.
  • Drop bags will be collected at the start location (Awan-igid) from 2 AM to 2:45 AM on Saturday morning, before the gun start. Please DO NOT bring your drop bag at the race briefing, as we won’t be accepting them.
  • Be sure to check-in before the start of the race.
  • Be advised that there are no toilets at the start location. Please arrive at the start line dressed and ready to go.
  • There are parking spaces at Banaue Hotel.
